Out Of The Blue™ releases additional features to grow your business, and other improvements

This release includes the following new features, functionality, and benefits:

Dimensional Compositions: With this new feature, OTB empowers users to gain deeper insights into the dynamics of their business metrics by tracking how the composition of any metric changes across time, both at the parent and child levels of any dimension. This capability is particularly valuable for eCommerce brands, as it allows them to understand the contributing factors and granular breakdowns that influence their overall performance.

Moreover, by tracking dimensional compositions at both the parent and child levels, OTB empowers users to uncover intricate patterns and relationships within their data. They can pinpoint the root causes of fluctuations in their metrics, whether they stem from changes in a specific product line, marketing campaign, or customer segment, ultimately enabling them to make data-driven decisions that drive revenue growth and cost optimization.

Impact on Events: OTB’s platform now calculates the impact that exogenous events, such as technical outages, broken promotional campaigns, or storefront downtime, have on a business’s performance, quantifying the potential loss or gain in revenue. This enhancement provides eCommerce brands with invaluable insights into the real-world implications of external factors, enabling them to proactively mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

By incorporating the impact of events into its analysis, OTB empowers eCommerce brands to make informed decisions that go beyond reactive measures. They can anticipate and plan for expected events, allocate resources strategically, and develop contingency plans to minimize the impact of potential disruptions, ultimately driving revenue optimization and cost-effective operations through informed action.

Spike Overlays on Charts: OTB has enhanced its data visualization capabilities by introducing spike overlays on charts, making it easier for users to visually gauge the impact a spike is having on a metric’s movement. This improvement streamlines the process of identifying and understanding anomalies or significant deviations in performance, enabling users to quickly pinpoint areas that require further investigation or immediate attention.

By presenting this information in a visually intuitive manner, OTB empowers users to make data-driven decisions more efficiently. They can quickly identify areas of concern, prioritize their efforts, and take proactive measures to address issues or capitalize on opportunities, ultimately driving revenue optimization and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Modal view on Metric Details: OTB has addressed a usability issue by ensuring that insights attached to a metric’s detail screen now render in independent containers. This enhancement provides users with a more streamlined and focused experience when analyzing specific metrics, eliminating potential distractions or cluttered interfaces.
