New Features Available for Out of The Blue™ “Perceive” Business Analytics as a Service
Hello and thanks for tuning into this product update release announcement. We will be delivering useful new features and functionality on a regular basis and announcing them in this manner to highlight what is new.

Product – Out of The Blue (OTB) “Perceive”
Availability – now for all active customers and end-users, including the following uses:
This release includes the following new features, functionality, and benefits.
Monetary Impact – provides a monetary perspective so you can prioritize what to address based on monetary gains and losses.
OTB Performance Metrics – provides time-to-detect and time-to-resolution metrics. These new metrics increase context and highlight the performance, benefits, and ROI that our Business Analytics deliver.
We’re all about using analytics and we “practice what we preach”, which is why we added these new metrics, so our team, ML models, and customers can continuously learn and improve.
Insight Grouping – This feature further automates and simplifies your time to action by reducing the number of insight cards in the Business Intelligence Feed. Insights are grouped by timeframe, type, and similar disposition (e.g., Spike Up, where up is desirable). Simply expand an insight group and scroll to see each individual insight and its details.
Hourly Insight Granularity – You can now know what’s happened and changed in the Business Intelligence Feed with a granularity of within one hour that is useful for assuring success during peak activity periods such as “hallmark holidays”, validating fast moving projects, and assessing the results of experimentation.
Customizable Metric Metadata – Lets you see results with labels and terminology that are familiar to you and your colleagues. Specific metadata parameters let your organization tune the how the monetary impact results are calculated.
Actions to Take:
The Business Intelligence Feed will automatically present the new information, you only need to refresh your browser window or tab to begin seeing the new format and features.
There is no change to email alerts. Customers can log into the
customer success portal to view the end-user documentation and release notes.
Engage with our Customer Success team when you are ready to add metadata to customize the labels and terminology, and setup the monetary impact calculations.
