New Features for Out Of The Blue™ Perceive

  1. New Navigation Bar, with direct access to your Metrics List
  2. Metrics List
  3. View and Edit Metric Details

Benefits

Direct Navigation to Insights Feed and Metrics: The topmost section of the user interface now includes a navigation bar that enables end-users to navigate to the Insights Feed and the Metrics List quickly. A new Metrics List view (described below) provides an overview of an organization’s KPI metrics plus the recent changes and business impact at a glance.

Metric List: This feature provides a unified repository for metrics. Each metric is hyperlinked to a detail view (described below) that opens a detail view that displays the name, attributes, impact calculation parameters, accent, etc.

View and Edit Metric Details: This new view shows the current Metric Insight the same as it appears in the Insights Feed. It also shows metric details including how the metric is calculated (i.e., whether it is observed or aggregated) and its business impact. At the bottom of the view is a histogram, the Insight History for the metric. Metric details including the displayed name, attributes, and business impact parameters can be edited from this view.

Actions to Take:

The Business Intelligence Feed will automatically present the new information; you only need to refresh your browser window or tab to access the new features.
